Starting this year membership in the Utah Rose Society comes with great perks. One of them is discounts at local, independent nurseries. We affectionately refer to these nurseries as our “Rose Buds”.

Homestead Nursery is a family-owned business with a personal touch. Tucked in a Murray neighborhood they are a hidden gem with an eye for quality.

Below are some of the Utah Rose Society’s favorites available for sale this year.

Good as Gold
is a whopper, producing 5-inch blossoms in many parts of the US. This means that they be massive Utah. Its petals are two toned yellow on the top with orange on the bottom. It is the perfect cut rose.

Princess Charlene de Monaco
is a rose society favorite for a reason. Excellent disease resistance, an intense fragrance, and charming color. It’s easy to see why this Meilland rose won the AGRS Award and the Biltmore Rose Trials.

Forever Amber is a cheeky floribunda with a secret; it is one of the most heat tolerant roses available for sale. Feel free to plant this pretty in the hottest part of your yard. A definite must-have for Southern Utah.

Utah Rose Society members get 15% off all roses. Homestead Nursery is located at 1472 E 6400 S in Murray. They are open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
